Deskripsi: 

1. Teacher prepares a piece of bread and cut into 4 parts.
2. Teacher asks the student to eat 1 part.
3. Student eats 1 part of the bread.

1. Teacher asks student to name and write the fraction of bread that he ate. 2. Student names the fractions and write its fractions.
Memperkenalkan Pelajaran Hari Ini Kepada Murid
Teacher says, "Today we will learn to express equivalent fractions for proper fractions."

Mempersembahkan Maklumat Baru Kepada Murid
1. Teacher prepares a circular cutout and folds it into half. 2. Teacher asks the student to colour 1 part. 3. Teacher asks the student to name the fraction for the coloured part. 4. Next, teacher folds the cutout again into 4 parts. 5. Teacher asks the student to name the coloured part based on the folded parts.(2/4) 6. Teacher folds the cutout again into 8 parts. 7. Teacher asks the student to name the coloured part based on the folded parts. (4/8) 8. Student gives the answers in fractions based on the circular cutout. 9. From the activity above, teacher relates it with equivalent fractions.
Langkah Kedua
1. Teacher prepares 3 diagrams. 2. Teacher explains based on these 3 diagrams. 3. Teachers states that equivalent fractions are formed by multiplying the numerator and denominator by the same number. 4. From the diagram, student writes down fractions of each shaded area. 5. Student tries to do the exercise [Worksheet:Question 1-2] with teacher's guidance.
Langkah Ketiga
1. Teacher states that to express equivalent fractions in the simplest form, student needs to divide numerator and denominator of the fractions by the same number. 2. Teacher shows the example on how to divide numerator and denominator by same number to get the simplest form. 3. Teacher asks the student to do the exercise [Worksheet:Question 3-4]. 4. Student does the exercise with the help of teacher.
